Meet Lina LitFest, the official Emirates Airline Festival of Literature mascot!
The tortoise has been a popular element in literature for years (who doesn’t know the story of The Hare and the Tortoise) and often symbolises perseverance, hardiness and intelligence. The tortoise would thus, always be a perfect fit as the Festival’s mascot.
Lina LitFest will be an integral part of future Festival events and, tangentially, the Emirates Literature Foundation, the parent organisation under which the Festival is held.
