    The Al Ras rooms, Al Amwaj, Al Khayma, Al Majlis, Al Waha and Al Rimal are on the Lobby floor, along with the bookshop and prayer rooms. The Al Baraha rooms are on the Waterfront floor. Terra Firma Restaurant is in the InterContinental Hotel, and Creative Meeting Space is in the adjoining Crowne Plaza hotel.

    Follow the E44 (Al Khail road direction Airport)
    Continue following signs for Business Bay Bridge/Crossing D71
    Once on bridge keep right. Follow signs for Festival City
    Hotel parking signs will follow

    Parking is available at the InterContinental Hotel or at Dubai Festival City Mall,

    Public transport

    Festival City is a five-minute bus journey from Emirates Metro Station (Red Line), using the F08 or 064A buses.

    By Car/Taxi

    Dubai International Writers’ Centre is in the Al Shindagha Historical Neighbourhoodin Bur Dubai – right next to the Creek, souk and Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. Paid car parking is available in Al Shindagha no more than two or three minutes’ walk from the Dubai International Writers’ Centre. GPS coordinates 25.266825,55.288510.

    By Metro

    Dubai Metro is the best way to reach Dubai International Writers’ Centre, Al Ghubaiba Station, on the Green Line, emerges directly into the Historical Neighbourhood. Take Exit 3 for the shortest walk to Dubai International Writers’ Centre: you will find yourself on a large plaza area. Walk straight towards the parking lot in front of you – you will then reach our back courtyard. Follow the alleyway – until you reach a smaller courtyard with a fountain – the car park will be in front of you and the entrance to the Dubai International Writers’ Centre on your left.

    By Bus

    Al Ghubaiba Bus Station is five minutes’ walk from Dubai International Writers’ Centre and many bus routes from Dubai and the other Emirates stop here. Cross the road toward the Metro station and head for the traditional buildings, then follow the instructions above for coming from the Metro station.

    Directions from Garhoud Bridge

    Follow the E11 toward Sharjah/ Al Qusais
    At Exit 67 follow signs for D95 (Cairo Street) going east
    As D82 (Al Rasheed Road) turn north, and go up ½ block, and turn right. The entrance to Al Mamzar Cultural and Scientific Centre is on your left with parking inside gates.
    Please allocate extra time during high traffic times (4:00-8:00 pm)

    Direction from Bur Dubai/Shindagha Tunnel

    From D92 (Mina Road) follow north toward Shindagha Tunnel
    Follow through tunnel and continue North on D92 (now Al Khajeel Road)
    Continue on D92 (Al Khajeel Road) until you reach D95 (Cairo Street) turning right (west)
    Follow D95 (Cairo Street) until you reach D82 (Al Rasheed Road). Here you will turn left (north) and go up ½ a block, and turn right
    The entrance to Al Mamzar Cultural and Scientific Centre is on your left with parking inside gates.
    Please allocate extra time during high traffic times (4:00-8:00 pm)

    Please Note: Dubai Scientific & Cultural Center, Al Mamzar is a multiple bus ride then walk to get to this destination.
    Stay tuned for information regarding special direct bussing from Stadium Metro Station (green line 15) for these events.
