We are so excited about the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2017. As well as the amazing programme at the Festival, we have managed to secure a fantastic author line up and programme of events for our Education Days. EAFOL Education Days will be held on Sunday 5th to Thursday 9th March.
Paid Students Sessions
The Emirates Literature Foundation is a non-profit making organisation. We aim to foster a life-long love of all forms of reading. To enable us to reach as many young readers as possible, some of our events are paid; these paid events help support our broad education programme.
During the festival, Education Day Paid Student Sessions are those events that we feel have strong educational value and often link directly to the school curriculum.

We are screening a series of films suitable for all age groups from year 6 right through to university level. Each session comprises a Digital Theatre Plus recording of an acclaimed stage production, followed by a talk by Fiona Lindsay, who will contextualise the plays and explore their key themes.

Free Education Day Sessions
We are offering tickets to Free Education Day Sessions featuring well-known authors. These will be held at host schools in Dubai as well as the InterContinental Hotel, Festival City. We will do our upmost to accommodate as many schools as possible but please note that ticket numbers are limited.

Author School Visits
We have a large number of authors who have kindly agree to visit schools, colleges and Universities in Dubai. We try incredibly hard to be fair and accommodating, balancing the preferences of authors with the requests of the schools. Much as we would love to find an author for every school, there are more schools than visiting authors.

The Fringe
Back by popular demand the Fringe Stages for the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2017, featuring music, drama, dance and performance by hundreds of students across the UAE. We are now accepting registrations for the Fringe and like last year we will have two fantastic performance stages.
