The journey to being a successful writer/ illustrator is a long and arduous one. Get a head start with the Festival’s Workshop and Masterclass Programme. Our international and regional tutors include award-winning writers, acclaimed illustrators and experienced professionals from the publishing industry.
Take a pick of your genre and writing style, or attend several different workshops to find out what you’re best at. And, not only are we presenting you with the opportunity to hone your writing skills, but the Festival also offers editing, column-writing, comic-writing, song and screen writing workshops, as well. You could join the illustrious list of Festival attendees who have now become published authors.
Additionally, the Festival will also be conducting four creative writing courses with authors Patrick Gale, Sue Moorcroft, Tamsyn Murray and Fatima Sharafeddine.
No matter where you find yourself on the literary ladder, you will always have a chance to improve at the Festival.
