AbdullAziz AlMusallam is a writer, author and poet. His name is synonymous with the cultural heritage of the UAE, particularly in regards to folk-tales, which he presents to readers in new and interesting ways to increase awareness of the UAE’s heritage. He has rewritten hundreds of fairy tales since the 1980’s, including eight children’s books.
AlMusallam is Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and a member of ICCROM, CIOFF and the Sharjah International Cultural Weeks. He is also an ambassador for the UAEBBY and chief editor of Al Maurouth magazine.
