Badriah Al Bishr is a novelist and journalist from Saudi Arabia. A collection of her short stories was published in 1992 as The End of the Game, with further collections published in 1996 and 1999 as Wednesday Evening and Pill Cardamom. Her novels include Hind and the Soldiers, The Seesaw and Love Stories on Al Asha Street, which was longlisted for the 2014 International Prize for Arabic Fiction. Her non-fiction writing includes The Battles of Tash Ma Tash (2007).
Her most recent novel is Thursday’s Visitors.
