A resident of Dubai for over five decades, Dr Ram Buxani is one of the most prominent Indians in the UAE.
Buxani’s path to becoming one of the country’s leading businessmen makes for a fascinating story, one that he narrates in his acclaimed autobiography, Taking the High Road, first published in 2003 and updated in 2013.
Buxani is a prominent spokesperson for non-resident Indians (NRI) and has played a key role in interacting with the Indian Government on their behalf. He has also received a shield from the President of India for his contributions to the NRI community.
