Ammar Bin Hatim is a writer, poet, columnist and artist. He is the founder and head of the Iraqi Cultural Centre for Arts in Iraq and a member of the Iraqi Fine Artists Union.
Bin Hatim has participated in various international festivals and conferences such as the Al Noor Festival and the first International Conference for Women in Baghdad.
He participated in the Remembering Al-Mutanabbi Festival in the UK in 2015.
Among his poetry collections are Mud Ashes and Above Land; Above Sea, which he co-authored, a collection of poems whose proceeds went to refugees.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a degree in journalism from the International Research and Exchanges Institute.
