Omar Ismail has been telling stories on stage in the UAE and internationally for almost ten years as a standup comedian and improviser.
He’s the current Chairman and co-founder of the Gulf Roleplaying Community, which runs interactive storytelling events and games throughout the region.
When not organizing events for others, he spends his time developing his own roleplaying system and running an ongoing story for the last 11 years. He has done so for an ever-shifting group of 25 ‘friends’ who have joyfully ruined every plot he’s ever come up with.
