Saeed Al Badi is a UAE writer and novelist. He worked as a war correspondent covering disaster zones and the war in Iraq in 2003. He is a member of the Arab Journalism Association and the International Journalism Association. He also writes a weekly column in Al Ittihad newspaper.
Al Badi has written several novels in Arabic, Jom-horiyyet Al Ard wannesaa, Arab Al Shams wal Sultan, Rehla fee Belaad Al Nara’yyn, Al Madinaa Al Mal’oona and Modon Wa Nessa (Women and Cities) which won the Emirates Novel Award in 2016.
Al Badi is currently working as the External Communications Manager of a large company in Abu Dhabi.
