What are you most looking forward to at the 2016 Festival?
Always a pleasure to meet other writers and readers.
When did you realise you wanted to be a writer?
I never didn’t want to be a writer. I blame my parents giving me Wind In The Willows when I was four.
What book do you find yourself re-reading most often?
Regrettably, my own, for proofreading and rewrites.
If you weren’t a writer, what would you be?
Lazy.
And finally, we have a number of aspiring writers attending the Festival. What one piece of advice would you give them?
Read, write, revise, relentlessly.
