Mostafa Salameh is one of only 13 people to climb the Seven Summits and conquer both poles – known as the ‘Explorer’s Grand Slam’.
Born in Kuwait to Palestinian refugee parents, it was never Salameh’s intention to become a climber, but after a dream where he was reciting the call to prayer from the world’s highest peak, he became the first Jordanian to climb Mount Everest in 2008, the same year he was Knighted by King Abdullah II of Jordan.
Today, he is an explorer, inspirational speaker, fundraiser and author of Dreams of a Refugee.
Mostafa currently resides in Dublin, Ireland with his family.
